Marsh Creek Skatepark is 12,000 sq. ft. of skateable area spread over an acre. This park features an advanced vert bowl, a flowing combination area of transition, banks, step-ups and other creative obstacles. There is also a “street” area with banks, ledges, wall, hubbas, and rails.

This Skatepark was the result of the Design/Bid/Build process with many thanks to the Raleigh Dept. of Parks and Recreation.

Hey guys, looking for some advice. I live in Raleigh and skate Marsh Creek weekly. A group of us are there every weekend and clean the park up and are looking for some general maintenance tips. Not sure if the “city” would actually make repairs appropriately etc. What do you recommend for seams that are breaking away. We have done some repairs using bondo, which seem to have held up pretty well. Thanks.

I’m currently trying out a few products at work. I’ve been patching holes in the floor and have come up with something by custom building products called “skim coat and patch”. Of all the products I’ve tried this one seems to wk the best. It’s quick drying and will withstand the weight of a forklift so I think it’s strong enough. It has to be used in 50degree or above weather to fully cure so I will make this happen spring 2012. -Den
