The “Hawk” Skatepark, as a reference to a generous Tony Hawk Foundation Grant receipt. This nearly 4000 sq. ft. park features elements for Skaters of all skill levels, including an 8 ft. deep kidney pool.
This Skatepark was the result of the Design/Build process and generous in-kind donations of materials, lodging, concrete discounts, and equipment.

This website is amazing. I am from West Virginia and am touring the country looking at skateparks. I started in Las Vegas, which has over 20 parks, then skated a little in L.A. and San Francisco. I have a blog for my cause, skateinthesun.blogspot.com and want to build a park in Davis, West Virginia. My dad runs White Grass Ski Touring Center in Canaan Valley, so I grew up ripping turns skiing and snowboarding. We do not have much terrain to skate there, so I wish to do something for my community. I got to skate the Front Royal park before i left, and can safely say that it is just as good as any I’ve seen out here.
